Angolan bank holds on to rating

An Angola-based financial services company’s long-term issuer default rating (IDR) has been kept at CCC by Fitch Ratings.

Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI) has been affirmed on its intrinsic creditworthiness, and sound profitability, which provides good capacity to absorb credit losses from the economic downturn.

BAI has not been given an outlook, as Fitch does not assign outlooks for issuers with a rating of CCC or below.
